The actress first gained notice in the 1991 film The Rocketeer, but it was a full 10 years later that she resurfaced in her Oscar-winning role as Alicia Nash in A Beautiful Mind.And while "she has always been beautiful," says makeup artist Pati Dubroff, "she has become more refined." Her last role had her arguing religion Salvation Boulevard, but Connelly's offscreen look reflects a more lighthearted attitude. "She's not afraid to try things. She'll try purple eye shadow," says Dubroff.
"She likes to play." I was a shy kid who found herself doing photo shoots at age ten," Connelly has said of her years as a teen model.
